Susie came from a rough past. She was living on the streets of DC, in a not-very-safe neighborhood. Some folks were feeding her, but no one was really taking care of her. She was so sweet, we were able to catch her very easily. She's been extremely happy and contented to be kept indoors and has the gentlest, sweetest personality!We were told by the folks feeding Susie that she's had lots and lots of kittens. When we rescued her, she had a litter of 7 2-week old kittens! We got them all too and they are looking for homes. Susie would love to be adopted with one of her kittens. Or she can go to a home alone too - she's so sweet and calm, she'd get along well anywhere. We think Susie is likely good with kids, dogs and cats - nothing really seems to ever upset her. She has brilliant green eyes and such beautiful colors! She is fairly large for a female cat - she is tall and long - we call her our Amazon woman! There is nothing not to love about this gorgeous lady! Susie will be spayed and up to date on all vaccines before adoption. Breed Estimate: Domestic Short Hair De-Clawed: no Approximate weight: about 9-10 lbs Approximate age: Young adult - maybe around 2-3 years old The adoption fee for this cat is $125, which helps with the cost of routine vet care.
