New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Thursday in Albany that he believes the State Senate will pass a gay marriage bill if given the opportunity. ?If this bill comes to the floor, and I expect it to do so, it will pass and it will have more than just the bare majority to pass,? Bloomberg said. Bloomberg?s remarks came during a news conference after he spoke before the State Senate Republican conference in support of the bill. The Assembly passed the bill Wednesday night, but the senate remained split 31-31.
